Today we have made quite early on the working end. The reason was that we wanted to spend some time with "our" dogs. Four are they which we are currently at the shelter. This means that we have to run every two rounds through the forest, which is very beautiful, but also very time consuming.

The weekend is once again over, and once again it's a shame. It was fine in the past two days, although Nala and I have so much going in that we both are looking forward to the coming weekend we have reserved just for us.

2 days ago the developer of America's Army (Flash warning) released a new version of their computer game. AFAIK it is based now on a newer version of the Unreal Engine . Finally!

The latest version had a really bad performance. I mean, I can play Half Life 2 with a good performance, which has much more special effects and a better physics engine than AAO, but I can't play AAO 2.3 with acceptable FPS...

Now, with the new engine, I have enough FPS to play it well again :) Had some good stats yesterday on Mountain Ambush.... the return of the old-school players will come... I feel it...
Sadly, they 'forgot' to release a Linux-version....

On Monday and Tuesday I must go to school. Today is Wednesday, so I have to work. Or call it: to pretend to work ;)
I am an apprentice in computer science (dict.leo.org calls it like this...), and as an apprentice in computer science you expect to do something with computer science! But, ATM most time I am at work I have Word opened and I am typing some text nobody really needs... except my chief. From now on I call him a 'Papierkrieger', which means something like 'Paper warrior'. I think he really likes printed paper and because of that he wants that we make much documentations for things we don't need a documentation about...

When I was at school today, Joesi sent me an URL to a new Beta-Project of Google. It is a huge Map of the world. Sadly, it only includes maps of North America and Great Britain yet. But you can change the view to sattellite pictures. Very Nice! Some Pictures are very detailed. You can nearly count the cars on the highways (Try L.A. or Washington (There you can see the White House and the Pentagon :) ))

Pretty cool.

I'm sure you are thinking "WTF ist that" now. Well, it is the same. Same blog, same person, but the language has changed. But why?
1. I am not very well in writing English. We don't often write English stuff in school, so there is a leak in my knowledge. So, this is a way to learn it anyway.
2. The Internet is a English place. I don't think that anyone reads my blog, but if it is in English more people have the possibility to read it ;)
