makes Recently, Opera Software rather talked about. Opera was released after 8, the CEO had to keep his bet and swim from Norway to America. Well, after a few days is probably failed now .... Who knows should not read this often symlink;)
Opera Software has now also started a project where you get 250 clicks on the Opera link for a free license. Why not, is already free if?

I put the CD then, but nothing happens. It seems that Linux support for Auto Start is not the same standards as Windows. I am on the search for a pirated Windows Explorer and going after brief search in one of the various "start menu" find. Strangely, there is not a CD drive displayed. Actually, no drives will be displayed at all. After extensive search in the big "User Guide" I find that there are no drives in Linux. The data from the CD drive in the / dev / cdrom copied. "Dev" probably stands for Development (= development) because the CD-ROM support (like many other parts of Linux as well) is not fully developed yet.

A Another important folder is etc, what the Latin et cetera - and the rest. In this folder, everything is pure, what the programmer at development could not be classified or did not want to - hence some important files are located here.

battery status
Well, you can sadly still not expect that part of the ACPI functions of Linux to 100%, let alone with new laptops. But just 20% would have needed just if you can not even read the status of the battery. Stupid if you never know how long does the laptop still out or? Maybe it helps if you / read only mounts (assuming / var, and are / tmp on another partition) and always in the programs crtl-s suppressed or exaggerated in vim often: w in the command mode, typing?
Well, I have chosen a different path, and certainly since the laptop is not me but my mother and it should be operated by her ...
After a few forum posts (in English, of course) and rumgegoogle (sounds stupid but nice ... but cool things you can do with the German language so hrhr), one finds something (at least it was for me like that!). Looks useful, but not just saying ... DSDT? IASL compiler ?
Weitergoglen (there's even the word in the dictionary?) Is still at least a few nice tutorials, as the here or there the . After all, even an approach, however, something ends in a nasty kernel panic on boot. Fortunately, there are a few hackers have the kernel hacking like mad and do it with 2 patches but possible: are you looking here .
Since I have to again say thank you! Thanks to those who are poor Nixwisser patches made available so that their mom sees how much battery power is still available!
